Windows virtual machine event log reports the error: Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued

Telling to go update the LSI_SAS driver in Windows.

I found the driver at the Avagotech page here, though it was a little hard to find  (Released 13/6-2011):

Just update the LSI SAS 3000 controller in Windows with this, and you’re good to go
